February 5, 2009: French-American Chamber of Commerce invites The Triana Group’s Founder Jabril Bensedrine to share his entrepreneur experience at a roundtable on Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Other speakers include Ariane Daguin, Founder of the successful brand D’Artagnan, Inc.; Thierry Duclay, President and Founder of the successful IT services company BO Technology LLC; and Odile Gorse, President and Co-Founder of the unique art management company G & O ART, LLC. Each panelist drew on his or her experience as an entrepreneur to highlight the importance of having a clear vision, a strong and adaptable business plan, and a passion for one’s work. Panelists shared their unique experiences as successful entrepreneurs, cited the challenges they encountered, and offered practical advice to attendees.

The roundtable moderator was Terry Jackson, Managing Director, Division for International Business, Office of Mayor Bloomberg, New York City. Ms. Jackson also described the role of her office and emphasized the many resources that exist to help promote entrepreneurial activities in New York City – “the world’s second home”.
