How We Work

The Triana Group, Inc. is a New York corporation founded in 2008. Our CEO & Managing Director is personally involved in most projects in tandem with a core team of consultants, leveraging a group of 40 business development contractors with high levels of expertise in their industries. We believe in synergistic partnerships, often operating with clients and partner companies as an extended team.

Jabril Bensedrine, Ph.D.
Managing Director

Jabril Bensedrine has established The Triana Group in order to help commercialize meaningful, impactful technology internationally. He has served as a strategy and business development adviser for 100 technology companies, some of them for 7 years in a row. He acts as the Managing Director of our joint-venture subsidiary, SESA SYSTEMS, Inc. He also teaches Technology Management and Innovation at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. His industry experience spans multiple sectors and technologies: Hardware, ranging from sensors and IOT, lasers and infrared, new materials, and industrial equipment; Industry 4.0. & lean manufacturing; Software, ranging from AI and AR to cloud-native ERP; Healthcare. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategy from Essec and has completed his post-doctoral program at the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley.

David Sejourne, Partner

David Sejourne specializes in international strategy consulting and business development at the crossroads of digital and medical/ health technologies. Following 15 years as Sales Director and Country Manager in a variety of international markets, he founded and developed Management Europe into a successful Consulting and International Business Development firm for European SMEs, often working directly with their CEOs on behalf of large financial institutions including but not limited to BPI and BNP Paribas, to name just a few. David is a graduate of HEC Paris, Babson College (USA), UIBE (Beijing), and has been certified as a Value-Based Healthcare expert by the Harvard Business School. He is a board member of the Think Tank « La Fabrique de l’Exportation » and is accredited by Stratexio and by BPI for strategy, international business, and business performance).

Phil Jeudy, Director, New York, USA & Europe

Phil Jeudy is a seasoned French-American entrepreneur and investor with nearly 20 years of experience in the startup ecosystem and innovation. With a background in technology, he’s held diverse roles in finance, marketing, and business development. Phil is renowned for his mentorship and advisory roles, aiding startups in refining strategies, and expanding networks. Beyond entrepreneurship, Phil is a prolific writer and blogger, delving into the realms of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Daniel Eisenberg, Director, France

Daniel Eisenberg started his career in international logistics, and importing products to the USA for a national retail chain including 5,000 stores nationwide. Later, he joined Suez Advanced Water Solutions in North America, then held sales leadership and top-executive positions in US agricultural technology equipment companies (“AgTech”) where he oversaw national and international commercial expansion and all aspects of business growth, first as Sales Director, then General Manager, and President.

Jonathan Artz, Advisory Board Member & Senior Executive

Jonathan Artz, over the past 20 years, has sold $300+ million cumulative value in medical products and technologies to US hospitals, on behalf of “medtech” companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500. Over his career, he has effectively developed joint-ventures, alliances, channel partnerships, and has contributed to the development of a number of sales teams and sales networks both regionlly and nationwide.

David Alexandre Baranes, Board Member, is an Award-Winning Entrepreneur (Armis.tech) who formerly led South-European expansion for AppNexus (Microsoft, Khosla Ventures, Marc Andreessen, Ben Horowitz etc). Engineer (Ecole Polytechnique) + Master in Finance (Columbia University).

Frederic Champavere, Board Member, formerly was Johnson & Johnson’s Managing Director in Europe + Janssen-Cilag France President; founder of Pharma Omnium (raised 100 million Euros) which he sold; as CEO and shareholder of SAM Outillage, turned the company around from a century-old handheld tool manufacturer to an Industry 4.0 innovation powerhouse.
