Medical Field Representatives
Our client is a company founded in 2001 that develops, manufactures and distributes unique products for hygiene, infection control and body care. With offices in Paris, USA, Japan, and Italy, it distributes in more than 60 countries. Our client’s US operation has been growing at a very fast pace and is now selling its products in more than 24,000 retail stores including Walgreens, CVS, Walmart.
As part of our client’s very strong growth, we are currently seeking full time field sales representatives to represent the brand into hospitals, clinics and nursing homes for the territories of:
- Metro NY
- Upstate NY
- Mid-Atlantic / Baltimore, MD region
This position features a generous base + a welcome bonus + commissions along with company benefits. Car allowance, laptop and phone allowance are provided.
Job Profile
This sales position will represent the company into hospitals, clinics and nursing homes for any of these territories depending on your location.
Locations available:
- Metro NY
- Upstate NY
- Mid-Atlantic
- We are also open to candidates in the regions of Atlanta, St Louis, Dallas, Detroit, Toledo, Columbus, Cleveland as new positions will also open there soon.
Ideal profile
- 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare.
- We are open to entry-level candidates who have some experience in business-to-business sales and are strongly motivated in proving themselves and entering the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan & execute long term technical sales cycle with hospitals, clinics and nursing homes
- Manage the existing customers base and grow their usage
- Prepare, launch and monitor product trial
- Provide in-service training to healthcare staff so as to make them knowledgeable on our products and ultimately ensure compliance in use
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain and enhance the outstanding reputation of the company in its field
- Participate at trade shows both local as well as national trade shows.
- Traveling will be required
Qualifications and Skills
- 2-3 years of sales experience.
- Healthcare experience (medical, nursing home, clinics, other) is a plus but not required –our client will provide thorough training.
- We are open to entry-level candidates who have some experience in sales and are strongly motivated in proving themselves and entering the healthcare sector.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to handle long term technical sales cycle (6-18 months), persistent and persevering
- Ability to professionally demonstrate products to multiple points of contacts within a facility, each having different backgrounds and priorities
- Computer literate
- Objective oriented
- Proactive on the phone
- Self-motivated
- Willing and able to travel extensively within assigned territory. Travel: 60%-80%.
- Ability to regularly and accurately report to manager
Benefits
- $50,000 to $60,000/year base salary (payable in monthly installments)
- Aggressive commission structure
- Welcome Bonus: 1 month salary (paid 3 months after the hiring date)
- Second Welcome Bonus: 1 month salary (paid 6 months after the hiring date)
- Car allowance: $500/month to cover the use of your car and associated auto insurance.
