Marketing Communications Manager for a Consumer Products Contract Design & Manufacturing Company

Our client is a full-service turnkey DFM (Design For Manufacture) and contract manufacturing company with world-class references such as Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Samsonite, Woolworths, Costco, Colgate-Palmolive and many more. Reporting to the CEO, your role will be to develop the company’s marketing and sales activities.

Major Responsibilities 

  • Engage and expand the company’s network of stakeholders and referral sources, as a primary source of qualified lead generation
  • Contribute and implement marketing campaigns targeting and growing the referral partners’ pool. Generate and implement ideas for campaign offers and messaging, coordinating with the management team
  • Expand and manage the corporate website, updating, and continuously improving various sections and landing pages.
  • Set-up, organize and manage the company’s CRM, and use on a daily basis and as part of communication campaigns
  • Develop and maintain relevant professional social media presence.
  • Develop, format and edit documents for various marketing initiatives (blog posts, content for website, case studies, etc.)
  • Develop, then manage content, design and delivery of the company newsletters
  • Assist with trade shows, event coordination and logistics as applicable, and progressively take an active role in representing the company in professional events to maintain relationships and develop new qualified relationships

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and able to fit within the existing culture and processes:

  • 3-to-5 years well-rounded operational marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing (or potentially in business with a strong marketing experience).
  • Solid marketing skills with demonstrated success in implementing marketing campaigns and maintaining business-to-business client relationships.
  • Interest or experience in the consumer product design & manufacturing sector a plus.
  • Hands-on, self-starter, very organized, willing and able to use necessary software tools to get the work done: from planning to execution, from CRM set-up to daily CRM management, from newsletter write-up to prospect follow-up.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, able to represent the company in professional events, with strong social and inter-personal skills.
